Cubic Digital Intelligence

Bradford Powell has been the vice president and general manager for Cubic Digital Intelligence since August of 2018.
In this role Mr. Powell is responsible for the successful execution of Cubic’s Full Motion Video (FMV); Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR); and Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) portfolio of programs. He also leads development and execution of the Cubic Digital Intelligence growth strategy.
Key systems in Mr. Powell’s portfolio include the Unified Video Dissemination System (UVDS), Motion Imagery Online, MotionDSP® ISR, MotionDSP® JET, Atlas Strike® and PIXIA® portfolio of HiPER® products.
Prior to joining Cubic, Mr. Powell held a number of senior director positions at Northrop Grumman where he was most recently responsible for a portfolio of programs, to include the Global Combat Support System – Army and the U.S. Postal Service Biohazard Detection System programs. He lived in Saudi Arabia for three years, leading a joint venture where he directed Northrop Grumman’s business execution and growth strategy for delivering critical infrastructure protection solutions to key middle eastern customers. He was also responsible for the successful pursuit and capture of multiple C4ISR franchise programs related to tactical airborne networking and senior leader communications.
As an acquisition officer in the U.S. Air Force, Mr. Powell served as the program manager for a portfolio of tactical data link integration programs. During his service at Hanscom Air Force Base, he initiated the Battlefield Airborne Communications Node (BACN) program and led the initial fielding of Link 16 on the F-15C/D/E fleet.
Mr. Powell holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from the University of Iowa and a Master of Business Administration, with honors, from the University of Chicago.
