Brian Kassa is the VP for Mission Critical Systems for Ericsson Federal Technology’s Group. Brian brings over 25 years of telecommunications and cyber security experience and 28 years of first responder experience in fire, emergency medical services, dispatch, emergency communications, search and rescue and emergency management. Brian joined Ericsson from The First Responder Network Authority where, for nearly seven years, led architecture, systems engineering, cyber security and emergency response for the federal agency. Brian first started working on Mission Critical Networks at Nokia in 2010, as the Head of Technology for Public Safety Broadband where he was involved in the market activities that would eventually lead to the formation of the First Responder Network Authority and the Nationwide Public Safety Broadband Network.
