Lam D. Nguyen, a member of the scientific and professional cadre of senior executives, is the Chief Scientist for the Department of Defense Cyber Crime Center. He serves as the principle strategic advisor on
matters related to cyber risk mitigation, cyber defense and analytics, and criminal and counterintelligence forensics.

Mr. Nguyen began service with the Air Force in 2019 as Laboratory Director for the Cyber Forensics Lab. Prior to his current tenure, Mr. Nguyen served in a variety of leadership roles across the public and private sector including the Drug Enforcement Administration, FireEye, Stroz Friedberg, and the High Technology Investigative Unit at the Department of Justice. Mr. Nguyen has also held adjunct positions at The George Washington University and George Mason University. He is a recognized expert in the field of Digital Forensics and EDiscovery and has led large-scale international investigations in both criminal and civil cases. He has testified as an expert witness in numerous federal jurisdictions.
