
Dr. Sarah Muccio
Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL)
Dr. Sarah L. Muccio is the Technical Advisor for Strategic Planning and Integration for the Air Force Research Laboratory, Information Directorate, Rome, NY. In the field of information assurance, Dr. Muccio works with scientists to mathematically model systems and analyze information. She conducts research on the science of mission assurance, emerging technologies and maps mission essential functions to their cyber assets. Dr. Muccio provides a catalyst for innovation by representing AFRL in the larger community both domestically as well as internationally to ensure the partnerships are cultivated for transition and innovation. She previously provided vision and direction to the AFRL/RI portfolio as the Acting Chief Scientist of the Information Directorate. Dr. Muccio enjoys educating future cyber leaders and was the 2012- 2017 Advanced Course in Engineering (ACE) Internship Director.
