Executive Profile: Timothy Conway, NTT’s Public Sector President
Timothy Conway, a Wash100 winner, is the public sector president of NTT Data, a Japanese system integration company he has served in for nearly a decade. Conway is an information technology veteran with over 28 years of public sector experience in management and technology consulting. His experience includes technology program management, application and outsourcing for public-sector clients worldwide, according to his LinkedIn profile.
Before he joined NTT in June 2010, Conway served as the senior vice president and a senior managing director at Affiliated Computer Services, a Xerox-owned company.
He was responsible for ACS' programs and client relationships with nearly a dozen U.S. federal agencies. Conway was also an IBM partner for 10 years, responsible for the company's business with the U.S. military.
He served in Lockheed Martin as a project manager for a classified satellite command and control program.
Conway began his career at Public Service Enterprise Group, a New Jersey-based energy company in which he handled daily-to-day activities of a gas business unit distribution facility.
He earned a master's degree in computer science from Hood College and a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Virginia.
