ManTech Secures $110M Air Force Digital Transformation Contract for Human Capital Systems

The U.S. Air Force has awarded ManTech International a three-year, $110 million contract to provide digital transformation services in support of human capital systems portfolio modernization.

According to David Hathaway, president of ManTech’s defense sector and a 4×24 member, the company’s digital transformation capabilities will deliver enhanced user experience for Air Force personnel and reduce overall sustainment costs.

The Air Force wants to modernize the systems, which support military personnel from recruitment to retirement, using commercial off-the-shelf software-as-a-service platforms, ManTech said.

The contract work involves consolidating and improving the Air Force’s human capital IT platforms, including through the integration of artificial intelligence into human capital business processes.

According to Douglas Hammer, executive director of ManTech’s mission support solutions practice, the company brings expertise and talent focused on mission support, financial management, AI, technology and data solutions that will enable improved decision-making within the military branch.

“This key Human Capital transformation win underscores the value of our market-leading ‘team of teams’ approach to delivering digital transformation,” Hammer said.
