Carahsoft Announces Availability of Apposite Offerings on NASA SEWP V
Carahsoft Technology has announced the availability of Apposite Technologies' wide-area network emulation products and maintenance services for the former's government and reseller partners.
As Apposite's "Master Government Aggregator," Carahsoft will make Apposite's offerings available through its NASA Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement V contracts, Carahsoft announced.
“We are pleased to partner with Carahsoft because we know they are well-respected in the Federal community and will be able to provide meaningful connections for Apposite,” said Apposite CEO Joe Zeto.
The partnership will also help Apposite expand its business further in the federal space and support government projects, Zeto added.
According to Carahsoft, Apposite's offerings will allow government agencies to replicate networks in a testing environment to gain insights into how different network conditions impact end-user experience.
Apposite's WAN emulators were also designed to allow users to easily optimize application performance against imperfect conditions before they enter production, Carahsoft added.
“As government agencies balance remote work and increased demands for digital services, ensuring the availability of data and supporting smooth and reliable user experiences is critical,” said Ryon Williams, manager of Carasoft's Apposite team.
He added that Apposite's WAN emulator offerings will help government information technology teams test how their networks and applications perform over remote or complex connections.
Apposite is a global provider of WAN emulation to service providers, government agencies and enterprises. The company also offers solutions for simulating bandwidth, latency, loss, congestion and other network impairments.
NASA SEWP V is a government-wide acquisition contract vehicle created to serve as an avenue for government agencies to procure a range of advanced technologies, including IT products, security tools, network equipment, peripherals, storage devices and software.
