GDMS President Chris Brady Wins First Wash100 Award

General Dynamics Mission Systems President Chris Brady, a member of the Potomac Officers Club, has received his first Wash100 Award from Executive Mosaic.

The award, presented by Jim Garrettson, founder and CEO of Executive Mosaic, recognizes Brady’s contributions to advancing and innovating enterprise data, infrastructure systems and defense programs in support of national security.

A seasoned executive in the federal and government contracting sectors, Brady leads GDMS’ efforts to solve some of the country’s toughest security and technological challenges, GovCon Wire reported.

He was promoted to lead the business unit after a nearly six-year stint as engineering vice president. During this time, Brady managed company-wide engineering activities and led over 7K engineering and technical employees worldwide. He also spent 11 years working for GDMS as the general manager of assured communications.

Prior to joining GDMS in October 2001, Brady served as a director at Motorola Solutions. He began his career as a technical manager for Bell Laboratories in the mid-1980s.

The 2020 Wash100 winner holds a bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, which he earned from the University of Arizona. He went on to complete a master of business administration degree from Arizona State University and a master’s degree in engineering-economic systems from Stanford University.
