HHS Awards Spot on $400M Cybersecurity Integration Support Deal to Electrosoft

Reston, Virginia-based Electrosoft has announced that it has secured a position on a potential five-year, $400 million blanket purchase agreement to operate, maintain and upgrade the Department of Health and Human Services‘ identity and access management program’s systems.

HHS can access consulting, program management, smart card management and other services through the Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12 Identity, Credential and Access Management Systems Integration Support award, Electrosoft said Monday. The company is expected to follow HSPD-12 and other government-wide authentication standards.

Electrosoft CEO Sarbari Gupta said his company will utilize its over two decades of ICAM and IAM experience to facilitate the adoption of new identity management capabilities and best practices. Federal ICAM requirements are “constantly evolving,” he noted.

In February, the company announced a National Institute of Standards and Technology prime contract to update special publications related to a recently updated federal rule concerning a government employee identity verification system.

Electrosoft recently received a $38 million contract to deliver cybersecurity support to the Department of the Treasury’s engraving and printing bureau.
