Booz Allen Lands $147M NIAID Technical Support Contract

The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease has awarded Booz Allen Hamilton a $147.4M contract to provide technical support and services. Under the five-year contract, Booz Allen will help NIAID's Office of Computer Infrastructure and Computational Biology in its development and maintenance of enterprise applications.

The office requires services such as records management, business process automation, case management, machine learning, and open-source platforms, among others, Booz Allen announced Monday

Company Vice President Roman Salasznyk said Booz Allen is well-positioned to support the NIAID in accomplishing its mission. NIAID conducts and supports research focused on treating and preventing infectious, immunologic and allergic diseases such as the newly discovered novel coronavirus.
