Huntington Ingalls Joins National CyberWatch Center for Cybersecurity Education
Shipbuilder Huntington Ingalls Industries has announced a partnership with the National CyberWatch Center for Cybersecurity Education. The partnership signals that NCC recognizes HII's excellence in cybersecurity and education, the company said.
Alan Greenberg, the chief information security officer at HII's technical solutions division, said the partnership is a chance for the company to serve as a national partner and champion for cybersecurity education, HII said Tuesday.
"Working together with NCC and its members, we look forward to supporting the national conversation on cybersecurity education and workforce development," Greenberg added.
NCC is a cybersecurity education and research consortium of information security educators and higher education institutions.
HII's technical solutions division supports government missions worldwide using unmanned systems, defense and federal solutions, nuclear and environmental serves and fleet sustainment.
