BQMI Wins NASA Safety, Mission Assurance Services Contract

NASA has awarded Banner Quality Management Inc. a potential five-year, $39.7 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to provide safety and mission assurance and engineering and technical services to the NASA Safety Center in Cleveland and NASA headquarters in Washington.

The contract has a three-year base period of performance that begins on March 1 and two one-year option periods. BQMI will provide administrative support; communication, professional development and information technology services; and technical knowledge, NASA said.

The space agency also recently awarded $76 million in IDIQ contracts to women-owned small businesses IBEX IT Business Experts, Bryce Solutions and Strategy Consulting Team to support human resource offices within NASA centers and field locations.

Work includes providing human resources business partner advisory support, subject-matter expertise in human capital policy development, data analytics, learning and talent development and executive services. The deals include a five-year ordering period.

NASA’s Information Technology Procurement Office, meanwhile, posted a presolicitation notice on SAM.gov, informing industry about its plan to issue the final request for proposal for the eight-year NASA Consolidated Applications and Platform Services contract vehicle in February.

NCAPS will combine the service requirements of 10 NASA centers into a single contract. The requirements include digital transformation automation support; information and data analytics services; and  IT systems engineering, modernization, management and operations support services.
